Get some oomph, this winter!
Have you run out of energy?
Now is the perfect time to revitalise with these body-boosting therapies as the days become shorter.
It makes sense that some of us would experience a decline in energy as winter approaches and the evenings become longer.
Fortunately, there are many ways to recharge our internal batteries without using caffeine or sugar, which will make it easier for us to handle the demands and strains of modern life on a regular basis.
Acupuncture - To promote the passage of qi (vital energy) throughout the body and maintain our health, acupuncture is a kind of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) that involves inserting small needles into acupoints on the skin. A number of acupoints can be especially used to increase our general vitality and wellbeing.
These points are tailored to your specific needs will be used during therapy to assist improve your energy levels, relieve stress, and reduce exhaustion by qi-stimulating the body.
Amno-fu bodywork! A deep abdominal massage is intended to stimulate the reproductive system, liver, spleen, and digestive functions. Many of the body's regular functions are compromised when it is tired. A vicious cycle starts if our digestive systems are slow because the food we eat isn't properly transformed into energy, making us feel more lethargic and moving less. Amno-fu massage will draw more blood and fluid to the area, literally 'getting things moving again' and 'stimulating digestive activity,' aiding the body in more effectively eliminating waste and toxins.
Herbs - Many of the herbs used in TCM are well known for improving health and vigour, such as ginger, ginseng, and turmeric. Although many of us already regularly consume these plants in food or drink, it is crucial to speak with a trained professional before taking any herbal remedies or supplements because some herbs may interact negatively with other medications or should only be consumed in limited doses. To enhance the flow of qi, increase your energy levels, and enhance your body's functioning, a practitioner will also be able to select herbs for your unique body type and constitution.
Massage with acupressure - Acupressure, often known as "acupuncture without the needles," uses the fingers, thumbs, elbows, and other parts of the hands and arms to apply pressure to various acupoints in order to restore the balance of qi in the body. For people who need a quick energy boost, seated acupressure massage is very beneficial.
Treatment lasts 10 to 15 minutes and is done while you are still wearing your clothes. It's a very energising therapy and excellent for releasing muscular tension because the therapist will often concentrate on manipulating acupoints on the back, neck, shoulders, and arms.
Essential Oils - Nothing can arouse the senses like a pleasant perfume. Aromatherapy is the therapeutic use of plant essential oils that are inhaled or used topically as part of a massage oil or other product. These oils enter the body through the lungs. The inhaled oils not only travel through the circulatory system but also make it to the limbic system of the brain, where they have an effect on our mood. While citrus oils like orange, lemon, and grapefruit are all quite invigorating, pine is proven to lessen weariness. In terms of mental weariness, basil is supposed to assist offer clarity while rosemary is great for invigorating the intellect. This is Halloween!
Traditionally a considered Event in the U.S, the popularity of Halloween amongst adults has never wavered, but in recent years the enthusiasm for Halloween has transcended with the same gusto to the UK and the degree of excitement and participation has increased significantly. There's a very good reason for this: Halloween is the one night of the year when adults are permitted to dress up as virtually any fantastical figure without fear of ridicule.
Did you know? More than 75% of individuals who celebrate Halloween will dress up as part of their festivities, according to a recent survey.
Will you be Hosting or making an appearance?
These days, many companies host an annual Halloween office party and permit, if not encourage, their staff to come to work dressed as Halloween-related characters.
But more than anything, going to Halloween parties while dressed in a frightening or magical outfit has turned into a popular social activity. Almost everyone enjoys the Halloween celebrations, whether they are at someone's house or the work office. Every year on or around October 31st, there are a tonne of Halloween parties. This is a day or weekend seen by all for running amok in good fun and humour.
Halloween is the ideal time to test your imagination if you're hosting a special evening with your friends and family. If you're planning a special event at your house, you're undoubtedly researching decoration ideas already that will astound guests and leave them clamouring for more.
Are you ready? Make sure you have the following:
Channel a Spooky Mansion: Use fake stuffed skulls to give your home a creepy, Victorian feel. To avoid the decor feeling cheesy, choose higher quality items; consider flea market finds over party supplies.
Set the tone by... placing sweets along your driveway or sidewalk, you can make it easier for witches and ghosts to find their way to your door. For a touch of fun Include catchy terms like "boo" or "trick-or-treat" for a Halloween-inspired touch.
A spooky front doorway and doorbell are essential, choose a eerie door knocker and a doorbell. Grab a few spider webs of various colours and distribute them around the front door itself to heighten the eerie atmosphere.
Try a Halloween Wreath—Who says wreaths are just used during Christmas? If you don't want to be unduly frightening, dress up your front door with ominous black wreaths to welcome trick-or-treaters.
Dim the lights to create a spooky atmosphere. To create a frightening mood, turn the lights down. String lights are excellent for illuminating your house. I'd also say that the strobe light effect's flickering lighting has a spooky charm. Remember that tea lights are best to illuminate pumpkins.
Make-up and Costume - Go all out and purchase a stunning ensemble. Spend lavishly and get a great outfit. The only time of year when we can assume these roles is on Halloween. It enables us to employ our imaginations and creative energies, and for a brief period of time, we can experience what it's like to be, a superhero, a vampire, etc.
Additional Inspiration
Embrace your creative side this Halloween, by whipping out the paintbrush. Try painting Pumpkins with ghoulish patterns and subdued colours rather than just carved.
Channel Your favourite Spooky Movie - A beloved Halloween movie theme can give your party the added oomph that it needs. You can draw inspiration from movies such as Beetlejuice, Hocus Pocus or The Adams Family. Use candles and bottles with vintage-inspired designs to bring out your inner witch's spells and potions!
Use eerie (but attractive) lanterns to decorate your doorstep rather than spreading pumpkins about. Fill them with miniature pumpkins to add a subtle touch of Halloween flair to your house.
Elevate Your Pumpkins - Consider spray painting your pumpkins in other colours like black, dark blue, forest green, gold, or silver instead of using the traditional field pumpkins to decorate your porch or home.
Throw a Spooky Dinner Party - Replace your everyday wine glasses with opaque black ones and invite a few spooky guests over for dinner to help celebrate this Halloween.
Table centrepieces are an important component of every special celebration, and Halloween is no exception. In fact, after the delectable meal served, of course, some may contend that it is the most significant decorative feature of the dinner table.
Food: The aromas of pumpkin, cinnamon, and apples are strong signs that autumn is here. You may start cooking and serving eerie but delicious sweets by looking up your favourite Halloween recipes online! Speak with one of our dieticians right now to discuss your healthy eating plan.
Try Imitation Flowers - This Halloween, decorate a table with faux black flowers or dried out leaves. For maximum impact, pair with black candlestick.
The Witches Hat: We adore the witch and her ensemble including the black cat, broomstick and cauldron. All of which is excellent for giving your home a touch of spookiness. Try hanging a witch's hat on the wall or a broomstick as well as adding a few additional witchy details to boot.
Create an Apothecary in your home to give it a vintage pharmacy feel. Stock it with all the medicines and elixirs necessary, add smoke for effect to call any ghost this Halloween.
Halloween inspired games - Adults can participate in kid-friendly games and activities during this Halloween season. If you're hosting a spooky party this year, amp up the fun with some amusing Halloween party games and activities. Halloween means trick-or-treating and loads of fun. The ideal balance of eerie and fun is required for the ideal Halloween party.
Is there a dark side? This Halloween, some people might want to try using a The Wigi Board or Ouija Board, while others might want to have a tarot or tea reading just for fun.
Whatever your theme this Halloween, make sure you pick your favourite alter ego and have some fun!

Go Green this September………
Ever thought of revamping your home and boosting your wellbeing all at the same time!? Use previously owned stuff again - It's time to be resourceful with your possessions; some may be more useful than you realise.
Decorating your home can be expensive, both financially and environmentally. However, perhaps the phrase "one man's is another man's treasure" contains the solution to this growing waste problem. Why throw away something when you could just give it a makeover?
Here comes upcycling, a technique used to lessen an item's impact on the environment by substituting fresh materials for old ones. Upcycling uses the resources to build a new product rather than destroying them like recycling does. Instead of dismantling the resources like recycling does, upcycling repurposes them to create a new product.
Here are 5 ways you can give it a try.
Out on the Tiles: If you have extra tiles or broken ones from a recent DIY effort that you don't want to throw away, there are several creative projects you can do to freshen up your home's decor. Making your own framed artwork is one of the simplest methods to upcycle tiles, why not turn an empty photo frame into a stylish piece of decor or create your own tabled mosaic? Bold, vibrant colours work incredibly well for this project.
Woody knows best! Go with the grain and use salvaged wood furniture to decorate your home. This is used to describe timber that doesn't come from recently cut trees. For instance, old timber may be made into a table or bookcase. And don't worry if you lack the confidence to DIY, there are several stores that sell recycled timber furniture, go ahead and find your nearest outlet.
Paint the town green - Adding a fresh coat of paint to a beloved piece of furniture is one of the most common methods to change it. The design and style can be entirely changed, and it's simple to do it yourself. But be sure to get the toxic-free paint.
Bring it back to Life! If you're tired of your decor and want a change of pace, re-upholstering some furniture can instantly freshen a space, It's the ideal method to bring back a beloved item without sacrificing the original designs.
Almost any soft furniture, including headboards, footstools, and cushions, can be reupholstered. In essence, you're retaining the furniture's structure while upgrading the look with new fabric.
There are many DIY tutorials available online that walk you through the full process of reupholstering. Always take a photo of the chair before you begin so you have a handy reference when it comes time to redecorate it.
Plant power – I adore indoor plants! They not only enhance my mood, improve indoor air quality, among their many benefits for our physical and mental health, but they can also be planted in just about anything that isn't a pot. By putting plant flowers inside mason jars, wine crates, containers, boxes and empty bottles can all be given a new lease of life. You'll avoid having to buy new pots, avoid throwing away an old item, and be able to add a unique touch to your home at the same time.
DONATE a second life to your clothes - After a long and successful existence, it is inevitable that it will be time to say goodbye to your clothing. Why not put it to use again instead of disposing of it in a landfill? The options are endless: recycle it, upcycle it, give it away or sell it.
Recycling used clothing can be given new life by using your imagination. An enjoyable approach to make something special and one-of-a-kind is through customisation. Use your clothes to make pillowcases, hairbands, and grocery bags to name few of the things you can do.
Upcycling and Sustainable Living is totally on trend, both for your sense of style and the environment.

The Pursuit of Happiness…
Have you put your happiness on hold? We're all guilty of it — allowing things to get in the way of genuine pleasure by focusing too much on what we're hoping to accomplish.
Perhaps you believe you will be happier when you change careers, retire, or get a larger home, or perhaps you are waiting for a major event to occur before you begin to focus on what you believe would make you happy.
While setting objectives and looking forward to the future is important, the problem arises when this perspective hinders us from appreciating the joys of today. After all, happiness isn't a scarce resource — you don't have a limited number of mounts to choose from in your lifetime. So, why are there so many cautions attached to it?
For many, achieving happiness has become a task we must put to our to-do list so we don't forget about it. However, it's starting to feel like a job we'll never finish. Happiness is getting overused and distorted in our brains, in my opinion. Why? Because of our fast-paced modern-day life and the invasion of social media, our moral compass, which defines our personal level of happiness, has been thrown off track. Simply put, we want more.
To start flipping this cultural reality around, how might you become more content in life rather than happier? Striving to be content rather than happy causes a shift in your mind and body, allowing you to focus on the present moment and your own self rather than the material objects that we think make us happy. Happiness isn't only dependent on achieving specific goals.
When it comes to staying on track or even achieving a goal, goal setting does produce bursts of adrenaline, motivation, and satisfaction. Setting goals for yourself has a number of advantages.
Happiness, on the other hand, should not be considered as vaguely linked to goal-setting. Happiness is a state of being that we can experience at any moment, therefore it isn't only felt when we achieve a goal.
Of course, there could be other factors at work here as well. Continuously trying for unattainable goals could indicate that you don't believe you deserve happiness, or that you're waiting for the 'right moment' to act could indicate a lack of self-confidence or an overpowering dread.
There are also a lot of people who identify as caregivers, natural nurturers, and high achievers, so they're naturally predisposed to find happiness by allowing others to find happiness first.
It's important to realise how much your own happiness can affect people in these situations. It can offer us great joy if we can perceive our own happiness as valuable and useful to others - Allow yourself to see the ripple you generate that becomes a wave and see how your connections flourish as a result of your happiness.
Why not start with establishing a sense of happiness? We can start to acquire happiness by learning to live in the present moment and appreciating all of life's small pleasures. Today is the day to embrace happiness.
Here are 5 methods to do so right now.
Be Self-Aware? The first step toward increased happiness in your life. It's critical to recognise and define your own personal definition of happiness. This self-awareness empowers you to take charge of your life and make the required behavioural adjustments to lead you to happiness. The ability to learn and accept yourself is crucial, as it contributes to increased self-confidence and, as a result, increased pleasure.
Step by Step — There's nothing wrong with setting goals for yourself, but they shouldn't keep you from being happy right now. If your larger goals are having an impact, break them down into smaller daily or weekly activities that you can easily do, allowing you to celebrate achievement – and experience joy – along the way. This implies you can start turning intangibles into tangibles and enjoy consistent progress toward a larger goal in the future.
Calm your thoughts - In our pursuit for happiness, being able to acquire a sense of inner calm is crucial. We're often too preoccupied with hurrying around and checking things off our extensive to-do lists to truly feel what we're feeling. You can experience feelings as they occur by pausing and listening to what's going on in your mind and body. Return to focusing on your breathing and enjoy a daily meditation practice to find inner peace. Seek clarity and calmness so you can experience happiness and joy.
Appreciate the moment - There's always something to make you smile at any given time. It doesn't have to be anything exaggerated; it could be as simple as a freshly brewed cup of tea, or walking the dog. Negative self-talk should be avoided - Making happiness a priority entails letting go of a pessimistic perspective. We're all guilty of comparing ourselves to others and focusing on what we don't have, but instead of critical self-talk, try replacing it with compassion for yourself. Set reminders throughout the day to actively check in on how you're feeling and focus on what you need to do to shift your mood to a more positive place.
Concentrate on your inner self-talk and thoughts. You must unravel the lower frequency thoughts and adjust your narrative, including language, attitude and behaviour if you want things to change and the lower frequency thoughts to quit taking up so much space. This is not an easy over-ride, but it is possible with time and patience.

Intentional Living ............
Have you ever arrived at a location and had no recollection of your journey? Or have you ever found yourself zoning out during a conversation because your mind was elsewhere? We all let our thoughts take over now and then, but when we spend too much time in the passenger seat of our lives, we can start to feel a little 'stranded.' This is where living deliberately can be beneficial.
Living purposefully empowers us to take charge of our lives, allowing us to live with more purpose, calm, clarity, joy, and confidence. Rather than existing and living life on standby, waiting for our circumstances to determine our reality, intentional living puts us back in control and empowers us to take control of our own lives.
The practise also has a slew of other health benefits, such as reduced stress, anxiety, and depression, as well as better sleep and stronger relationships. Doesn't it sound fantastic? So, why aren't we all already doing it?
It's not always easy to distinguish our genuine purpose, beliefs, and desires from those imposed on us by our families and society. Our society, parents, friends, and instructors instil in us the need to fit in from an early age. This produces subconscious programmes of how we should act, which frequently contradicts living intentionally.
Someone who wants to achieve in life, for example, may believe that they need to make a lot of money, so they educate themselves to work in finance, law etc, but they don't enjoy it. Their subconscious programme steered them onto a path that stifled their natural creativity. Overcoming these subconscious programmes can be challenging, and it takes time and effort.
So, the first step in living more consciously is to become more self-aware and recognise what resonates with you personally. Instead of thinking about what you think should resonate with you, try to rise above the noise around you and any cultural or family conditioning that might be determining what you think should resonate with you. Ask yourself, "What actually energises you?" What sets the fire within you ablaze? What makes you feel like you're alive? Energised? Inspired? Joyful?
Taking some time to sit in self-analysis and figure out what resonates with you on a personal level will help you clarify your life objectives, priorities, and desires.
You may make active choices to support your desires and take aligned and focused action to get there if you've gotten crystal clear on what you want out of life.
Life can become easier in many ways after you figure out who you are and what you believe in. Before making decisions, you ought to listen to your conscience. Because your mind and heart are in sync, you're less likely to be stuck in a job you despise or a relationship that causes you pain.
Here are five ways to start living intentionally today:
Set up time for yourself - Clearing your mind and regulating your nervous system can be as simple as carving out a calm and peaceful window for yourself each morning. Starting the day in a state of relaxation rather than in 'stress mode,' whether it's a few minutes of stillness with your morning coffee or ten minutes of meditation, will improve your focus, concentration, and productivity throughout the day and allow you to respond to stressful situations with ease and resilience.
Establish your core values - Understanding and defining your fundamental values, as well as what is important to you, will motivate your behaviour, activities, and life choices. Once you've determined your values, you can begin intentionally living a life that matches and identifies with you, resulting in a more purposeful, satisfied, and happy life.
Connect with your emotions, "How can you do more activities on a daily basis to build that emotion?" Find ways to feel calm and peaceful right now if your big picture dream will generate feelings of tranquilly and peace. Think about what makes you happy right now and do more of it.
Limit your use of social media, If you want your big picture idea to create feelings of quiet and tranquilly, be wary of social media. While most of us have a social media account, think about why we use it. Is it a helpful tool or does it have control over your life?
Make that change. Ask yourself what needs to change in yourself and your life in order to move closer to your ambitions and dreams. This entails taking responsibility and carefully considering how you present yourself and who you want to be.

“Transform your decision-making capability by tapping into your inner wisdom.”
Do you have trouble making decisions? When it comes to making decisions, we're typically urged to "trust our instincts." But what happens when our instinct tells us that our social plans are more important than listening to our own inner voice?”
We all have intuition, even if it doesn't feel like it.
It's the skill and feeling of instantly sensing something without having to think about it. There may have been times when you've had heightened intuition for example; Have you ever been in a situation where your first impressions of someone or something turned out to be correct? It takes time to develop the ability to trust your inner voice, but it can drastically improve your decision-making, self-confidence, and outlook on life.
“Let’s explore, ways in which we can be more Intune with ourselves……………”
Create a meditation routine. When you have a lot of thoughts swirling around in your head, it might be difficult to tap into your inner wisdom. Developing a meditation practise is a fantastic place to start when it comes to developing strong intuition. Meditation can help you calm your thoughts and hear your inner voice more easily.
While integrating a few mindful minutes each day, it will help you create a regular, relaxing practise. Begin with simply five minutes, focusing your attention on your breathing while sitting in a comfortable position. With practise, you'll realise that these five minutes fly quickly.
Stop and think about it. We've all had experiences in our lives that didn't go as planned, whether it was a relationship, a career change, or attending an event. Rather than wallowing in regret, make the most of these opportunities to learn. They're an excellent source of motivation for connecting with your inner wisdom.
Consider a period in your life when things didn't go as to plan. Keep a journal of the experience and write down what transpired. Also keep in mind whether you ignored any red flags during this time. Maybe someone said something that made you feel uneasy. Perhaps the workload was too much for you.
Perhaps you've always felt uneasy but couldn't put your finger on why.
Take a moment to listen to your body. How many times have you said "yes" without thinking about it and then regretted it either immediately or much later? We're all guilty of it now and then. We're more likely to make decisions that are in line with our actual ideals if we slow down and listen to our inner wisdom.
Take a few deep breaths and pause the next time you're faced with a decision. Close your eyes and pay attention to how each option makes you feel in your body.
Your rate of breathing and depth may fluctuate, your heartbeat may speed, or you may notice a shift in your body temperature. Your intuition is speaking to you through all these physical cues. All you must do is take the time to notice.
As your intuition practise improves, you can use it to more significant life decisions. Trust yourself to make the proper decision, whether it's relocating to a new home or accepting a job offer.
Creative flow - As youngsters, we're inherently creative, spending our days painting, drawing, and creating entire worlds with our imaginations. However, as we grow older, rational thinking is frequently favoured over creativity and intuition. As a result, we lose touch with our inner voice and may lose faith in ourselves. There's no better time than the present to let your imagination run wild and allow your creativity to flow.
Practise your intuition - You may have seen an oracle card or two if you've ever had a tarot reading or "liked" a post on Insta or TikTok.
Oracle cards are a more chilled and a playful version of tarot cards. They can exhibit any image, and the individual reading them has more leeway in interpreting its significance and meaning. Increasing in popularity in recent years, they are ideal for honing your intuitive skills. Angels, goddesses, and crystals are just a few of the oracle cards available for you to check out.
Start by tuning into your intuition and choose the deck that appeals to you the most. It's time to put your cards to use in a mindful exercise now that you've got them. One basic way is to consider a subject or situation for which you require assistance or guidance with.

The end of winter marks a new beginning in the natural world, and a health retreat is the perfect way to embrace that.
Stress and anxiety are exacerbated by unpredictability and difficulty. It's the perfect moment to pay attention to your health. Wellness is a holistic approach to an individual's emotional, bodily, and spiritual well-being. It is "a condition of total physical, mental, and spiritual well-being."
Wellness retreats are places where you may focus on your health and well-being by participating in activities like yoga, meditation, nutrition, detox sessions, spa treatments, and fitness therapies. These retreats allow people to fully unplug, harmonise their bodies and minds, and help them reclaim their natural rhythm. You don't have to go anywhere to obtain these advantages, though. You can set up your own wellness retreat at your home.
It's critical to keep a healthy balance in your physical and mental well-being—it'll help you get through difficult situations with ease.
“Why not Create an At-Home Wellness Retreat Experience With these Steps to Give Yourself a Break…!?”
Create a Calendar - Just as you would for a real retreat, plan a program of activities for your at-home break. Try 30 minutes of yoga in the morning, arrange your meals according to the diet you want to follow, prepare ahead of time, or set aside 20 minutes for meditation, or try your new face mask at the end of the day.
Make Time for Your Retreat - Just because you're arranging a health retreat at home doesn't mean you shouldn't schedule it in. A DIY health retreat doesn't have to take up an entire weekend or even a single day. A 15-minute self-care programme can provide the same advantages as a health retreat. But set aside the time; otherwise, you may take it for granted and put it off. Prepare ahead of time by informing your flatmates or family that you will be unavailable for a specified length of time. That way, you'll have enough of ‘me-time.'
Break the normal activities for newer ones - There shouldn't be just one set of activities at your home retreat. Plan activities that are both energising and calming for you and your family.
A wellness vacation isn't complete without some physical activity. Try a new workout class, a different type of yoga, try meditating in the outdoors or going for a long walk. Look to break up your typical normal routine.
Activities are a great way to unwind - Put on a face and/or hair mask and go about your day at home on your wellness retreat, cook a healthy supper, and take a long soak (with candles, music and your favourite fragrant bath bomb). You may want to go camping in your back garden…..
Healthy Eating- Junk food may be appealing, but it is bad to your overall health. Plan your meals ahead of time to avoid succumbing to temptation. Choose healthful, nutrient-packed foods for your upcoming wellness retreat.
Remember that healthy eating isn't just about what you eat, but also about how you eat it! As a result, strive to consume meals without being distracted, chew your food thoroughly and slowly, and eat the appropriate food at the appropriate time.
Dress for it! - Even if you're not leaving the house, make sure you have everything you'll need for your at-home wellness retreat. It can contain your workout clothes, slippers, yoga mat, diary, favourite novels, and whatever else you think you'll need to relax. Not only will you save time digging through your closet on days when you're trying to unwind, but you'll also get a sense of 'being' or 'going to' somewhere other than your house.
Restrict the Digital - Avoid using your mobile phones and social media as much as possible throughout your detox. You will not be able to relax if you are still connected to technology. Put a ban on it or a curfew at least.
Schedule some Downtime - Don't forget to arrange some time for pure relaxation in between all the fresh air, face masks, good food, and long baths. Allow yourself to be idle for a while, reflect, wash your worries away, and relax your body and mind.

The décolletage, neck, hands, greying hair, bad posture and thinning lips are the most typical age indicators. Wouldn't it be great if you could learn how to appear younger naturally? Many have said…laughter, love, and an open mind are the genuine secrets to remaining youthful. Though my thoughts are that there's no harm in getting a little assistance.
With Skin Care, it can be a minefield especially when determining which products are best suited to you skin condition and type. Most of our purchases are trial and error until we finally fall upon that one product range. Once, we do, we tend to make horrible mistakes including the incorrect application steps and the dreaded unforgiveable sin of using the same products for years despite our skin ageing!
Is your skin looking dull and losing its elasticity? Are you getting uncharacteristic break outs and battling a severe bout of blackheads, clogged pores and congested skin? Don't worry, I’m here to help with a few simple ways to boost your beauty regime and reclaim your radiance!
“Here are some easy but effective hacks for getting age-defying skin, by simply following the following easy steps."
Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate - We're sure you've heard it before, but staying hydrated is essential. Keep a bottle of water with you at all times, whether you're working, exercising or doing some other activity. Instead of downing a litre at a once, take little sips of water throughout the day, and if you grow sick with it, add a squeeze of fresh lemon juice, mint, or cucumber. By refilling your internal hydration and using a moisturiser on a daily basis, you'll be able to avoid dry, flaky skin.
Glow from the inside out - You'll notice the effects on the exterior if you put healthy stuff inside your body. As we become older, our body's natural collagen levels decrease, and we can see the results in the look of our skin. It can cause dry skin and fine lines and wrinkles to develop, making us look older than we are on the inside! So, make sure you're receiving all of the nutrients you need to shine from the inside out. Skin Nutrients include Oily fish, flax seeds, avocados, and walnuts as they are high in omega 3 and 6 in fatty acids, which your skin need. A large dose of this important fatty acid can benefit those with chronic skin problems including eczema, acne, and psoriasis by plumping their skin and reducing the appearance of wrinkles.
Step-by- Step - It’s no use applying product after product if you’re doing it in the wrong order. After cleansing, apply a pea sized amount of serum while the skin is still damp to help lock in moisture. Follow with a corrective serum such as Day Cream (Vitamin C, B5 or E) /Night Cream (Retinol), and then dab a tiny amount of eye cream to the delicate eye area before applying (AM Only) your SPF.
Exfoliate! To efficiently exfoliate your skin, you do require a high-end monthly facial, such as a Hydrafacial, Skin Peel or a Micro-Dermabrasion treatment. However, home care scrubs are useful and should be used once or twice a week. Gentle scrubs help to exfoliate dull, dead skin cells and help achieve fresh, bright skin that we desire. Great for the health of your skin as it encourages skin cell turmover.
A Wrinkle in Time - As wrinkles naturally deepen with age, any makeup or everyday dirt can collect in them, making them appear more obvious. Use a good cleanser and exfoliator to remove the skin’s debris and invest in a moisturising product to keep your skin hydrated all day and while you sleep. To get the most out of your purchase, look for anti-aging chemicals like Retinol. Retinol, often known as vitamin A, stimulates the formation of collagen, which helps to reduce wrinkles and fine lines.
Protect your face, neck and décolletage - Age and sun damage produce vertical lines, often known as tramlines, on the breast. Because the skin of the décolletage is so sensitive, it's important to protect it from the sun. Using a gentle exfoliant on the upper chest might help to improve skin texture and wrinkles. Invest in a rich Vitamin E moisturiser and hand cream. Protect at all costs with a 30/50+ SPF.
Eye to Eye - Don’t under-estimate the importance of the massage your skin gets whilst cleansing. Avoid dragging the fine skin around your eyes while you remove eye makeup as it can damage the skin’s elasticity. Tapping the skin around your eyes gently with your fingertips after cleansing has an excellent effect on eye bags. By not only stimulating the blood flow and improving the circulation, massage can also help in draining facial puffiness.
Always use an SPF - Sunscreen is a regular go-to when you’re heading out for the day at the beach, but what when you are nipping to the shops, doing the school run or meeting friends for lunch? Even on overcast days our skin is being bombarded with UV rays. Whether it's sunny or not, wearing sunscreen is essential if you want to have healthy, gorgeous skin and prevent the skin from harm and damage.
Get your 40 winks - I'm sure you've heard of the phrase “beauty sleep”, there's a reason it's called that. You might do worse than getting a good night's sleep if you want to avoid dark circles and puffy skin. Don't forget that our bodies heal and restore themselves when we sleep. Our skin cells, for example, use our sleeping hours to repair damage and produce collagen.

A smell is more than just a perfume. It's a memory that sticks with us for a long time. With just a whiff of these fragrances, our senses come alive again…recapturing, recollecting and evoking a splendour of amazing memories.
Unlike other human senses, olfactory reactions are linked to our brain's emotional centre and are directly related to our prior experiences. Scents convey messages to our limbic system, the part of the brain that regulates memory and emotion. Positive feelings evoked by particular smells have been shown to lessen stress levels and enhance general mental perspective.
This combination of aroma, memory, and emotion explains why scents have the ability to impact our emotions and psychological well-being with some scents commanding the attention in a room like a moth to a flame. The only trick you need to learn here is to choose the right perfume for the right occasion.
Many people still see fragrances as frivolous luxury, despite the fact that smells are extremely potent. According to scientific research, the scent you wear has an effect on your attractiveness. As a result; for example, the scent you use at work might not be appropriate for your first date.
Smell has the ability to elicit intense emotions. According to one study, people's perceptions of a perfume differ depending on the occasion to which it is worn. This implies that if you associate a scent with a pleasant event, it will boost your mood and inspire positive ideas every time you wear it.
Having a trademark perfume is, of course, a good practice to have. It offers you a sense of self-awareness. But how about delving into the domain of sensations and feelings? It's the same as changing your clothes.
So, depending on the situation, here are some tips on scents to select from…..
For Daytime - During the day, you may spend most of your time commuting, working, and running errands. On a regular day, you won't need your show-stopping bottle of perfume. So choose softer scents such as flowery, lemony, or earthy. During the summer months, Heat also extends the life of a smell and allows it to go further.
For the Evening - Depending on the occasion, you could choose a different scent. A scent that is unexpected, breath-taking, and spontaneous. The notes of vanilla are brightened by a combination of aromatic harmonies of lemon, mandarin, and bergamot, emphasising sensuality with freshness.
For A Date - You don't go on dates every day, so you want it to be exceptional when you do. Choose a scent that is linked with confidence, such as sweet, woody, spicy, or musky, for date evenings, especially if it is your first date.
For Work - Perfumes aren't popular in every business. If your company permits it, a confident perfume with spicy, woody, and citric elements might help you advance your career. Remember to keep it light and neutral, since it may be off-putting to some co-workers.
For Holiday - Wearing a scent depending on your trip might help you build better memories. Wouldn't coconut or aquatic fragrances be ideal for the beach? Pay attention to the atmosphere of the area before selecting your perfume. Floral, fruity, and citrusy scents are the most popular choices since they go so well with vacation emotions.
Gifting that special person - When you offer a bottle of perfume to a friend, you are giving them a memory as well as a few feelings. As a result, it's a fantastic present!
It's impossible to forecast which scent a person would appreciate unless you know them as well as you know yourself.

> January 2022 - Fulfill your objectives in 2022!
The list of things to do in January continues to grow. I've been assured that I'm not alone, that many individuals are ringing in the New Year by battling with their own thoughts and sentiments in order to move their health and happiness forward.
Grand, sweeping life changes, such as reaching your weight goal or finding a new job/career by the end of the year, are common New Year's resolutions.
To overcome a lack of motivation and desire, instead of trying to make drastic changes in your life, set some daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly goals for yourself. You'll be able to observe more progress in real time if you break down larger resolutions into smaller, more manageable ones, which will help you stay motivated throughout the year.
We have all observed, once the excitement of the new year has worn off, staying motivated to achieve your objectives may be difficult. You will be able to fulfill your objectives in 2022 if you have the necessary tools to stay motivated and productive in the long run.
Try the following steps: You will be able to increase your energy levels by using these easy incentive strategies to overcome any sluggish disposition!
So, how about we get started?
Maintain your vitality! - You may run into periods when you don't have the energy to keep going after you've set your goals. Setting objectives that are Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Time-managed is the most frequent method for motivating oneself or others.
Stay positive and have some fun. If you change the way you think, you will have unlimited energy. Some people, for example, create exciting objectives such as reducing weight. Going to the gym on a regular basis may be the key to achieving that aim. If going to the gym does not appeal to you, discover other healthy ways to lose weight as long as they are enjoyable, such as organising a salsa night.
Adjust your mindset. Make yourself feel like you want to. Expand your mental horizons via listening, reading, and relearning or learning new abilities.
Take the time to track your progress and reward yourself for each significant goal you set! There's nothing wrong with rewarding yourself for what you've accomplished.
Make tiny objectives - Make sure they're realistic and manageable so you can make progress and attain them.
Reassess, Review and Evaluate - Take a look at who is around you in your daily life. Are they favourable or unfavourable? Is it beneficial or harmful? Toxic or beneficial? Expel them from your life and surround yourself with good people.
"Just do it!" - You don't have to wait till you're inspired to get started; simply start with the basics. You don't need to consider the broad picture first; instead, look at what you can do right NOW and concentrate on what you can achieve.
Read a Mantra, inspiring quotations or a passage from an author that has experienced a similar path to one that you want to travel.
New Year's resolutions should be implemented gradually and in modest doses.
Remember to cut yourself some slack.
