Our Complementary Therapy Clinic in Manchester Central is managed by Mamuna Arshad FICHT ATL. Mamuna trained and qualified in 1998, in Manchester as a ComplementaryTherapist specialising in Advanced Reflexology, Aromatherapy,Hydrotherm Reflexology, Thermo-Auricular Therapy (better known as Hopi Ear Candles), Indian Head Massage and Stress Management.
Currently she is an elected Fellow of the International Council of Holistic Therapists, a member of the Professional Association of Clinical Therapists and also a member of the Association of Therapy Lecturers.
During her career to date, she has gained nine years experience working within Rehabilitation in a reputable establishment with other Clinicians including Physiotherapists, Occupational Health Therapists, Remedial/Sports Masseuses and Podiatrists.
Further developing her career, she is also working within Cosmetic Surgery; alongside Surgeons, Doctors and Nurses undertaking Pre and Post Operative Patient Care. Her main interest lies in the development of practice in the field of pre and post operative care, Rehabilitation, weight loss treatment as well as long term stress management.
She has continued with professional development by gaining qualifications within Counselling Skills and further developing a better Understanding of the Healthcare Environment for providers of Complementary Therapies.
Applying her knowledge, skill and expertise; she has further maintained and continued the care and support for her patients for many years.
She also continues to dedicate her time and energy within the local community by offering complementary therapy workshops, participating with local events, as well as appearing in a few newspaper and magazine articles to increase the growing awareness of health and lifestyle management. She is currently a regular featured writer for an online magazine here in the UK and in South Africa.
